Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, possibility to take a first contact with the charm of the square of “Jamaa Lafna” and surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Marrakech – Zagora
Departure from Marrakech to the south. We will cross the village of Ait Ourir from where the road narrows to cross the highest mountain, the Tizin-Tichka of 2260 meters altitude. On the way to Zagora we will pass through the beautiful Drâa Valley with its 3 million palm trees where we will discover Berber villages and Kasbahs. At the end of the day we will arrive in Zagora, located in the heart of a beautiful oasis. Dinner and overnight in Riad.
Day 3: Zagora – Tafraout – Ramlia – Ouzina “Berber village in the desert”.
After breakfast, we will travel on unfrequented tracks to a non-touristy sector where you will enjoy landscapes very different from those already known. Dinner and overnight in a lodge in the middle of the desert.
Day 4: Ouzina – Merzouga
After a delicious breakfast we will stroll through the village of Ramlia and its garden where we will have tea with the nomads of the village before continuing the route to Merzouga near Erg Chebbi. The only Saharan dunes in Morocco. You can take advantage of this day in the desert and admire how the light changes the color of the dunes. Dinner and overnight in lodge near the dunes.
Day 5: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi
After breakfast, we will go to the other side of the dunes. It will be an intense day because we will visit the two oasis of Merzouga, the nomadic lands, the village of Khamlia – inhabited by blacks from Mali -, the mines of Mifiss, the desert plateaus, the Berber nomads. For the snack we will arrive at the inn and after drinking tea we will take the camels that will take us to the center of this vast expanse of golden sand. And at the slow pace of the camels so you can enjoy the wonderful scenery offered by the desert to reach the tents where we will spend an unforgettable starry night in the middle of the dunes with fire, traditional musicians that will help you appreciate the spirit of the desert. Dinner and overnight in tents.
Day 6: Erg Chebbi – Todra Gorges
After breakfast we will head towards the Gorges starting from the city of Rissani, the first imperial city of Morocco, the souk under the red arcades and its many ksours. We will continue by road to the village of Tinjdad where we will have lunch. Then we will continue to the gorges where we will discover a wild landscape, almost virgin, populated by Berbers and nomads who graze their goats. We will descend through a narrow gorge resulting from the separation of the High Atlas and Djebel Saghro to reach the hotel deep in the gorges. Dinner and overnight in Riad.
Day 7: Gorges of Todra – Boutaghrar – Ouarzazate
We will travel along the road of the “thousand Kasbahs” and stop to know them inside. In addition, we will cross the Valley of the Roses and stroll through the quiet of the mountains where you will appreciate the lifestyle of the Berbers. At every step, you will discover a new scene of their daily life. We will continue our route through the palm grove of Skoura. Dinner and overnight at Riad.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast and before continuing to Marrakech pass through the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where several movies were filmed: Gladiator, Asterix and Obelix, Sahara …. Then we will cross the High Atlas by a point of 2260 m in the direction of Marrakech where we will arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and hotel accommodation.
Day 9: Marrakech – Guided Tour in Morocco
Visit of the city starting with the Menara gardens with its pond, the Saadian tombs -where the founders of the city are located-, the Bahia Palace -residence of the former vizier-, the Koutoubia -splendid minaret- and end the day in the magical and changing Jamaa el Fnaa Square. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Marrakech – Airport
Breakfast at the hotel and at the indicated time, transfer to the airport for departure flight to your city of origin. End of the trip and end of our services.
