DAY 1 : CASABLANCA – RABAT – MEKNES – FEZ
Reception at the airport, departure to visit the mosque of Hassan II, then continuation to Rabat, visit the administrative and political capital. Departure to Fez via Moulay Idriss, holy city and visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Lunch in Volubilis Meknes or known as “the Versailles of Morocco”. Visit the monuments of Meknes. Arrival in Fez. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 : FEZ EXCURSIONS
Full day dedicated to visit Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, home of the first university in the world dating from the ninth century and one of the most complete medieval cities in existence. Surrounded by massive defensive walls, it seems to be suspended in a time loop, somewhere between the Middle Ages and the present day. Guided tour of the medieval Medina, the University of Quaraouine, the Madrasa Al Attarine, the Palace of the Kingdom, the Ben Denane synagogue, the souks. Overnight stay in a riad.
DAY 3 : FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – MIDELT – ERG CHEBBI DESERT
After breakfast, departure to the south of Morocco. Most of the day will be spent in the Sahara desert. A short stop in Ifrane is included before heading to Azrou with its cedar forest. Stop for lunch in Midelt and continue to the south of the country. Departure in 4×4 vehicles to the biggest dunes of Morocco. Visit of Erfoud. Lunch in a desert oasis. Then enjoy an authentic camel ride to the camp and the sunset before a traditional dinner and bonfire. Night in Erg Chebbi in a desert camp.
DAY 4 : CAMEL RIDE IN 1 NIGHT IN THE DESERT CAMP
After breakfast, you will make the grand tour of the dunes, the nomadic reservoir, Khamlia village, the mines MIFISS the desert plateau to meet the nomadic Berber oasis Tisserdmin. Back at the inn for 15 hours for the start of your camel caravan to watch the sunset on the dunes (about an hour and a half camel). DAY 5 : MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TODRA
After your return to camp, breakfast and shower. We go to the direction of Toudgha via Rissani visiting the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif “the founder of the Alaouite dynasty” and Ksar Oulad Abdel Halim. Then continue to Erfoud and small oasis villages such as Jorf with its ancient irrigation systems “Fougarras”, Touroug, Tinejdad and lunch. DAY 6 : TODRA – DADES – AIT BENHADDOU – MARRAKECH
Departure after breakfast to the Dades Valley by the ” Route of the thousand Kasbahs “. We will visit the Dades Gorges, and by track we will enter the High Atlas where we can discover another way of life of the Berbers of the mountains.
