Essaouira, also known as Mogadur, is a Moroccan port city, located on the western Atlantic coast, north of Cape Sim. Its medina or historic center is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2001. Its walls were the setting for the series Game of Thrones. It is common to see on its beaches the practice of various types of water sports, such as kitesurfing or surfing, thanks to the marvelous weather conditions and wind present all year round.
